Splash Dance

Splash logoSixteen young people aged 11 – 17 were making waves when they attended a challenging, fun and funky street dance week, led by dance artist Tammy Spalding, with assistance from Sarah Ferris.

The project, a partnership between Swindon Dance, Flux and Swindon Youth Services, was funded by SPLASH Swindon & Wiltshire. The group learnt a range of dance routines, devising their own creative sequences in small groups. Many of the young people taking part were nominated by support agencies and their achievements over the week were acclaimed by both the teaching artists and staff.
