Rock School
Isambard students enjoyed their weekly Rock School sessions, formed bands, and composed their own songs.
The rock school built on skills acquired in lessons or have been taught themselves.
Students learnt creative song writing, understanding music technology, working together to form bands, and learning and performing songs.
This project aimed to:
- Improve ensemble skills
- Improve instrumental skills
- Build confidence in performing
- Encourage new ideas
- Develop teamwork and social skills
- Understand technology

rock school is so fun and you can make new friends
this is the koolest school ever made and my cousine goes 2 Isambars and her name is Tamara Hadebe in Air South she has told me a lot and next year i want 2 come 2 Isambard and i will tell all my friends all about this school and they are sure to come.If i hade 2 give it a rateing out of 100 it would be 900 and so on hope to see you next year and i know i will have a lot of fun i also know that i will make a lot of friend. i have been going to rock school since the first session in yr 7 and i have loved every minuite of it! im now in yr 8 and i still go it really is amazing its a great way to express yourself and most of all HAVE FUN!!!!
