Penhill School
The positive opportunities of the Flux project in North Swindon broadened to neighbouring communities, in a partnership with Penhill School.
Mobile Media, together with Swindon Borough Ccouncil’s Family Learning Department, funded a project at Penhill Primary School. The aim was to bring in Year 6 parents to work with their children on digital arts, using software such as Photobooth and Garageband to illustrate their interests.
When children get to the last year of primary school, parents tend not to have as much input or communication with the school and can lose touch with the progress of their child. This project enabled six parents to come onto the FluxMobile and work with their child on an arts project of their own choosing.
