Flux is an exciting arts project for young people. Participants have been involved in making films, banner making workshops, rock school, puppet making and much more. The song featured in our new video, on the left, was written and performed by Flux Rock School Idiot Nation Federation.

  • Flux Evaluation

An evaluation of the Flux project is now available.

  • Farewell to Flux

Over 7,000 people took part in a £1.3m government-funded pilot project to see if arts activities can positively affect young people – and discourage anti-social behaviour. The three year Flux project, based in the new housing estates of North Swindon, worked with local schools and the community to share opportunities in filmmaking, animation, web design, salsa drumming, puppet making, cartoon clubs, community festivals and much more.

  • Arts Blast 3

Isambard students enjoyed Arts Blast 3 - a period of ten days when curriculum based subjects were delivered using arts activities. Year 8s discovered War and Peace through an Alien invasion, while Year 7s looked at Southern Ocean by making boomerangs, among other things.

  • Big Weekend

Culture Swindon and Artsmad helped organise the biggest outreach programme ever to accompany the Radio 1 Big Weekend - and Flux Documentors were involved.
